Finally done



 They are finished. These are my two entries for the 2012 Umbrella Prints Trimmings Competition. Very exciting and happy with how they look.

for a good cause

I made this pillow for a benefit for Rosmy, in Richmond. It helps LGBTQ teens in the greater Richmond, VA area. Below is a link for more info about the benefit.

I did this pillow for a friend of mine, and I think I'm going to do another one in pink, and then pull the one I have from my Etsy shop and stick to the simple colors. I like how it pops, and the machine stitching really adds to the design. I'm thinking I might change all my Etsy designs to machine stitching and save the embroidery/hand stitching for custom work.

Everything got so busy the last few weeks, and some how it's the middle of May and I haven't posted since the end of April. I organized an event at my son's elementary school and it sucked away an extra time I had. I am finishing up the pillows for the Umbrella Prints contest this week. The second pillow went quicker than the first...
