We met a little boy on the metro today, and he was spotted with different bright colors; it looked like paint. I asked him if he had painted today and he told me that he had celebrated Holi. His Dad us told that his pre-school celebrates all cultures, and today was India.
"The colorful festival of Holi is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima which
comes in February end or early March. Holi festival has an ancient
origin and celebrates the triumph of good over bad. The colorful
festival bridges the social gap and renews relationships. On this
day, people hug and wish each other, "Happy Holi.""
We should all do this.
